Nothing is more physically amazing that sitting in the middle of a symphonic orchestra while it is turned on full throttle, for one‘s whole body resonates with the orchestra. Or perhaps the tones are amazingly soft, hard to imagine 80 musicians containing the sound that way. Suddenly you are transformed into a vehicle of technical expression. The job is to listen to everything around you while blending with many other cellists and playing your heart out with an eye out for the conductor. Current Links:

Elizabeth has a true passion for playing chamber music. This is where the team spirit and solo voice collide. Her chamber music experience is vast , bringing a wide variety of repertoire and instrumentation to the stage. In the past she has studied and performed chamber music all over the country from Nova Scotia to California. She played with the Lake String Quartet for two summers at Yellowstone National Park performing over 60 concerts each summer for visitors from all over the world. From string quartet to mandolin ensemble to piano, the many combinations of chamber music seems exciting and endless and the same piece never sounds the same way twice. In addition to spontaneous projects, Elizabeth currently performs with Luna Nova Quartet. (link: www.LunaNovaQuartet.com ) This group is truly original: String trio, violin, viola, cello, with Mandolin at the steering wheel. The concerts have be hailed with rave reviews, an exciting project of which to be a part. She has been contractor for concerts and casuals.
